Teen Science Cafes
Learn more about what the cafes are, where they take place, and how to get connected here.
Teens own this cafe. They don’t only attend it – they run it. By joining the Youth Leadership Team (YLT), you get to voice your opinion about what the cafe looks like, sounds like, feels like, and even what food is served. The YLT is a great place to find friends while developing leadership skills that look nice on a resume. Find out more about the YLT here.
3D printing is a new way of making things. It can make things in plastic and metal, just like most things are made, but what makes it really cool is that it makes physical 3D objects from what you design on a computer. Just like when you use Word or Google Docs to write a report and then get a physical copy on paper through a document printer, 3D printers create a physical 3D object from what you make. You can make nearly anything you can design on a computer. Find out how at this month’s cafe!
